Category:3D graphics software Category:SolidWorksThis invention relates to a fluid dispensing cartridge for a continuous dispensing pump, and more particularly to a replaceable cartridge of a variable volume that can be manually or automatically dispensed. Automatic fluid dispensing cartridges are well known. These cartridges are used for dispensing fluid from a pump in a range of operating conditions. For example, when the pump is actuated at a low rate of dispensing, the pressure of the cartridge is increased to facilitate a low rate of dispensing. A low rate of dispensing is more economical to use than a high rate of dispensing. When the pump is actuated at a high rate of dispensing, the pressure of the cartridge is decreased to reduce the pressure of the fluid being dispensed. The reduction of the pressure of the fluid reduces the leakage of the fluid from the cartridge during the actuation of the pump. U.S. Pat. No. 4,750,685 to Samuels et al. (xe2x80x9cSamuelsxe2x80x9d) discloses a device for automatically refilling a dispensing cartridge. The Samuels cartridge has a spring that biases a first end of a valve element downwardly in a fluid passage to prevent fluid from being dispensed. When the valve element is moved upwardly, a fluid passage is opened. The valve element moves downwardly during the dispensing of fluid. The downward movement of the valve element reduces the pressure in the fluid passage and the rate of dispensing. The downward movement of the valve element increases the pressure in the fluid passage and the rate of dispensing. The upward movement of the valve element closes the fluid passage, and a spring automatically returns the valve element to its original position. The Samuels device prevents air from entering the cartridge. The replacement of a cartridge by the Samuels device is not possible without removal of the cartridge from the device. U.S. Pat. No. 5,001,872 to Schmoll et al. (xe2x80x9cSchmollxe2x80x9d) discloses a cartridge that has a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber contains a spring that automatically compresses in a first direction to seal ac619d1d87
